The Local 1930 chapter of District Council 37 has formed The Heritage Committee to celebrate and champion our diverse membership. The mission of The Heritage Committee is to honor the diligent work done to bring awareness to the concerns of and cultural contributions made by all members of diverse cultural heritage.
The Heritage Committee commits to support solidarity in these communities to address and solve the issues that contribute to divisiveness within the membership for both the currently employed and retired. The committee aims to tackle matters related to fair treatment, wages, job security, health care, child care, education, and housing.
The Local 1930 chapter respects its members and invites you to make your voices heard by joining or contributing to the efforts of The Heritage Committee.
